One of my favorite activities while traveling is trying out local cuisine–I love exploring the regional tastes and recipes that makes each state proud. One of my favorite ways to try out the freshest flavors is shopping at local farmers markets.
Idaho prides itself on some of the best farmers in the country, and our picks of seasonal produce will be a delicious addition to any journey. Next time you’re RVing through Idaho, make a stop at these farmers markets. Not only will you be supporting local farmers, but you’ll be eating the freshest food Idaho has to offer.
Capital City Public Market in Boises boasts itself as Boise’s original farmer’s market. Open on Saturdays from 9:30am-1:30pm, Capital City Public Market is not only a great stop to get a taste of the flavors from Idaho, it’s also a fun destination for the whole family. While local produce and fresh meat are the highlight of the market, check out the work by local artisans–you may just find a beautiful new piece of art to add a personal touch to your RV.
