2017 27BHS Features and Options

Simply put, Jayco has set the standard for the travel trailer RV industry. See the Jayco difference for yourself, and there will be no doubt!

Some things you’ll notice that set this unit apart in particular is first the outdoor kitchen with it’s own refrigerator, so neither you or the kids will have to run in and out of your RV with dirty shoes just to grab a snack. This in addition to the power awning and exterior marine grade speakers will keep your family smiling and having fun on those great Summer days.

Now, the build quality of this unit truly stands out. Starting from the top, a Magnus Truss Roof System is featured, which can hold 4,500 lbs, which is a MASSIVE 50% stronger than other roof systems. This technology will stand the test of time, keeping your family safe and sound underneath. Floors this durable take things even further, and by far, as they are ?” tongue-and-groove plywood, being completely unheard of for travel trailers. The kids would really have a hard time getting anywhere close to damaging these great floors.

And on the note of the floors, you have premium vinyl flooring with residential carpet, being the same long-lasting quality you would find in a home. Quality continuing down to the kitchen drawers, having a huge 75 lb limit with their ultra durable ball-bearing drawer glides, which will securely hold whatever your need for those long hauls. Finally in addition, when you take a step into this trailer, you’ll see the stainless appliances, matching the rest of the high quality of the unit, making clean-up a cinch with long-lasting superiority.

As usual, simply put, we’re happy to help you gather all the information you need for when the time is right. Most of our customers contact us to set an appointment to simply evaluate the unit in person before they consider purchasing. So give us a call today, and we’d be happy to ensure the unit is ready for you to see.

ManuFacts

Jayco, Inc. was founded in 1968 by a man of strong faith and vision. The late Lloyd J. Bontrager, family man and inventor, felt he could build the world a better RV. He longed to create a company of his own, one that clearly reflected his ideals: a company where everyone would be treated as "family".

With encouragement from his wife Bertha, Lloyd started Jayco on their farm--in two chicken houses and a barn! He developed his own prototype camping trailer and a unique lifter system for fold-down campers, the basic design of which is patented and still in use today. By the end of 1968, his fledging company of 15 employees had sold 132 fold-down camping trailers.

Today, Jayco's "family" of employees has grown to nearly 1,500 people, while more than 25,000 people join our "extended family" of customers each year.

At Jayco, our mission statement is: Committed to being the most respected name in recreation vehicles. We will consistently build a high quality, high value, competitively priced product at acceptable margins, treat every situation with the highest level of integrity in a timely manner, and continually work to reduce total cost to achieve acceptable returns.
