The Discover Pass, is required to enter land managed by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Disabled veterans do not need to purchase a Discover pass.
The cost of the pass is $10 per day or $30 annually. There are also several holidays that do not require you to have a pass:
